Grocery stores….

October 17th, 2007 · 3 Comments

Those of you who know me have heard my gripes.

Back in Oklahoma, Wal-Mart dominates the grocery market. It was an annoyance because they don’t buy newspaper advertising like other grocery stores. Secondly, I got tired of the same ol’, same ol’.

Kathryn knows I dig Whole Foods Market. Ain’t no Whole Foods Market in Oklahoma City. For that matter, there’s no Publix, Winn-Dixie or about anything else. Here in south Florida, there’s grocery stores galore.

What does that mean? Some quality foods available down the street. At hippie Whole Foods Market, I picked up some of the best hamburger meat to ever touch my tongue — one had some spinach and horseradish, another had some cheese in it.

Tasty.

Whole Foods is so hard core in its hippie glory (except that only quasi-hippies shop at Whole Foods, Ryan), that it’s trying to shove the Barnes and Noble into the old movie theatre across the parking lot to make way for the world’s largest Whole Foods - right here in B-town. Oh geez…

Seriously though, they have the most incredible meat counter known to man. If I could afford Whole Foods everyday, I’d never eat poultry again. It’d be all red meat, allllllllll the time!!!!

It’s easy to cook fish. Just cook it until it stops flopping (or until the flesh is opaque).

By the way, you are turning into a huge hippie liberal, despite the political crap you fling about. :-)
