Took a walk during lunchtime in downtown near where I work.
This is the RiverHouse, a condo place across the street from the Sun-Sentinel Building. I’m told these joints go for at least $500k a pop.
Here’s a guy kayaking down the New River, one of the canals running through Ft. Lauderdale. This is right outside our building.

Great story behind this guy…He was apparently a lieutenant fighting in the Pacific. Single-handedly wiped out a bunch of Japanese officers by charging into them, firing at snipers in the trees and seizing an imperial army machine gun. They found him mortally wounded, still clutching a weapon — and dead Japanese all around.
